***Lake Powell***



Dax and I went to Lake Powell this weekend with my family. It was a great trip! I was worried about Dax not liking the water and boat, but he loved and he was a trooper. We had a really good time and enjoyed the time we spent with our family. It is always nice to be home and in dry clothes.

Well it is official, I have a rootin' tootin' little cowboy on my hands and I wouldn't have it any other way. Dax LOVES to wear his cowby hat and boots and be JUST LIKE Gampa Chad. They have such a blast together, sometimes it is hard to know who is having more fun... Dax or Gampa. Dax has been doing a Mini 4H thing, where we go every Wednesday afternoon and he learns how to ride the horse. He rides Jonie's ropin' horse Cecil and he thinks that he is pretty neat on that horse and so do the rest of us. The 4H had a show to end the year a few weeks ago and Dax got to participate, even though he is only 2-years-old.

***Camera Fun***

Dax loves to take pictures on my phone and then look through them. Sometimes I will end up with 10 or 15 pictures from one 'sitting.' When we look at them he always makes fun little comments like "Oh cute" or just "ooohhh." Here are a few that we have taken.
